The Stained Glass Windows

As part of The Big Arts Week in June 2002 the staff and children created the stunning stained glass windows that can now be seen in the school hall. All the children submitted designs on the theme of creation and a selection were used as the basis for each window. Each completed window is made up of nearly one hundred pieces of coloured glass - each piece hand cut to create the images from designs produced by the childern themselves.

You really need to visit the hall on a sunny day to get the full effect. For those who can't get into the school you can click on the images below for a larger view.

Keep a look out - another set of windows are currently being created !!!
