Child Protection and Confidentiality Statement

"The Headteacher, teachers, Governors and all members of the ancillary staff cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality; the needs and well being of pupils always overrides confidentiality boundaries.

If any member of staff or Governor has a concern regarding the health and/or welfare of a child it is school policy to report it to the headteacher and/or in appropriate cases, the designated member of staff with responsibility for child protection.

This member of staff may, depending on the circumstances, inform Social Services in accordance with the school's Child Protection Policy." Back to top
